WIN Twizzlers - Day 2 Twizzlers Landmark Road Trip

 The Twizzlers Landmark Summer road trip continues on day 2 with a relaxed yet fun day of playing at our hotel.  After a peaceful night of sleep we headed to the complimentary breakfast buffet here at the Holiday Inn Express - a large assortment of choices including pancakes that came out of the magic machine, push a button and one minute later a huge sized hot pancake drops out on to your plate.  Yes, I need one of these on my kitchen counter to simplify breakfast time during those crazy school mornings.

After breakfast we headed across the sky bridge that connects our hotel to Triple Play and Raptor Reef.  My children's eyes grew bigger with each step as we entered the amazing family fun park there was so much to do we did not know where to begin.  The boys headed to the water slides and the girls headed to the outdoor go-karts a fun day had begun.


Not only did we slide, race go-karts, bumper boat, play arcade games and eat the typical snack bar munchies we also aired this weeks 24/7 MOMS Live webcast here at the hotel  sharing our fun Twizzzler Landmark road trip  with moms across the country.  Then it was off to a late night game of bowling ( yes, in our swimsuits) and end the night with the mom (me) deciding it was time to hit the slides herself, yes I decided it was time to conquer the fear of the unknown. I began my climb up several flights of stairs carrying my inner tube as the mode of transportation that would bring me back to ground level but not before I rode through pitch black tunnels with my mind racing wondering if there truly was an end to this slide, wondering if I would see light any time soon as my heart raced and my body continued to soar through the darkness I convinced myself I would come out a live and be able to look my kids in their eyes  and say "Yes, the mom did it" and I did.  The clock struck 10:00 pm and we had successfully closed the place down with a full day of fun - ready for bed and onto Day 3 of our Twizzler Landmark family road trip.
