Count Down To Christmas Day 2
Day 2 - Counting down the days until Christmas with daily activities and surprises in our home.Today our countdown fun is creating ornaments. I purchased an ornament painting kit last year on sale after Christmas and saved it for this years 25 countdown activities.
Day 2 - Provide your children with an ornament project.

ohhh, great idea for after Christmas shopping. I'll keep that in mind.
What a great idea...especially for the "older" kid who do not make special ornaments as gifts for parents at school anymore. Only thing is...our kids are SO busy this time of year. It is so sad there is no time for fun with school, sports/music/dance, homework, dinner, bath ,etc and bedtime. I hope we can get a kit and have my little one do this with neighborhood kids one weekend day when we are not already heading out to extended family Holiday parties. Its all going WAY too fast!!!!

I just did some stained glass ornaments and some foam crafts like santa, rudolph and a stocking..they are magnets after put together. Got them at the dollar store!
I got some cheap ornament frames at Jo-Anns with little Christmas characters. Always a nice gift idea for the grandparents.
