Bloggy Giveaway - echoes in the attic

Echoes in the Attic was formed out of a pretty kooky and desperate act of recycling. When my kids were 11 & 7 I was diagnosed with breast cancer. They were scared of seeing me with no hair and wigs are a pain...so I cut off all my own curly locks before chemo took it, made braids & sewed them to a bandana. Doing this awful, scary thing and then wearing my head-gear around planted a seed that nagged at me till I met a sewing teacher (my now partner)...Echoes was born. My kids are now 17 & 13 and seeing their mom industriously creating this fab line of eco-goodness in a bag by way of our company.

Our commitment is to transform discarded 'rescued remnants' from post-manufacturing and designer samples into salvage-chic fashion & home accessories. Echoes regularly rescues tons of landfill-bound fabrics, refashioning and re-offering them back to consumers as gorgeous, re-purposeful designs such as handbags, totes, diaper/laptop bags and beautiful pillows.

echoes in the attic diverts approx. 500 lbs of leftover fabrics from landfills every 2 -3 weeks.

Check out all the great one of a kind products at the echoes in the attic web site.
