Create A Family Journal

To encourage writing, we've started a Family Journal.  We're all writing a minimum of 1 sentence after dinner.  It's really just the news of our day.  Spelling does not count, but everyone must try their best.

This offers us (the parents) a chance to model appropriate spacing, capital letters, and think out loud about what we are writing (ideas, sounds, etc).


That's it - pretty simple!

    What an AWESOME idea!!! I have boys that don't love sharing details about their day and this is a GREAT way our fam can talk! :-)
