No Game Boards Required - Famiy Game Night ideas

Time for another Family Game night in the Novotny home. When we think of family game night we automatically begin thinking what game board or card game we can all play but instead this month I thought it would be fun to discover some No Game Boards required games the entire family could join in and play.

iSpy - Players take turns trying to guess which nearby object that has been selected. For complete instructions click here.

Charades - Charades is a fun and easy game that you can play with just about anyone, anywhere! Kids love the fun of acting out something as you try to guess.
For complete instructions click here.

Scavenger hunts in the house - Kids love a treasure hunt, and this one encourages reading, problem solving, running from place to place, and having fun. It's easy to set up, you need about ten minutes of prep time, and the more intricate you make the clues, the longer the scavenger hunt will take. Click here for complete How To instructions.
"Rock, Paper, Scissors" - is a hand game played by two or more people. For Complete instructions click here

Play "20 Questions" - The game of questions and answers - One player thinks of an object and the other players ask questions to determine what that object is. Click here for complete how to instructions.

Thumb wrestle - Looking for a way to entertain your kids? Then, give thumb wrestling a shot. Click here for how to play.

Round Robin Story Telling - Have you ever made a story with a group of people? It’s great fun, especially in a family. Click Here are some suggestions.
Do you have a No Game Board Required game?

  1. Don't forget about Hangman. This is a great game for those learning how to spell as well as the "mastery" spellers.
