Have you head of PJ's for the cure? You will love this especially if you already buy PJ's each Christmas for your family - Combining holiday shopping with philanthropy is a wonderful way to give back this holiday season and these fun pjs offered by Komar make great gifts for the women and kids on your list.
Komar, the largest sleepwear and intimate apparel manufacturer in the United States, created PJs for the Cure to benefit the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) and kick-off National Diabetes Month. In an effort to effectively support the Foundation, Komar has chosen to take an active role and do what they do best— design, produce, and sell women’s and children’s pajamas to raise money to help find a cure for type 1 diabetes.
This program is unique in that Komar is donating 100% of every sale to JDRF to fund further research for a cure for this chronic disease that predominately strikes in childhood. The goal is to raise $1 million for JDRF by selling comfy cotton pajamas, available just in time for holiday giving.
PJs For The Cure has a Facebook page . Click here to "Like" it!SHOP: Start shopping now and check out the adorable styles on the PJs For The Cure website. Click here to start shopping now.

I am part of the Yahoo Mom's "Make a difference" program.
We were given 100$ to do something with, so I chose to put 50$ in a high school kids lunch account. She never eats lunch and it breaks my daughters heart, so I'm going to contact the principal and have her put 50$ in the girls lunch account. That should feed her throughout the rest of the year.
I am also going to give 50$ to a local mom who was robbed outside a store this past month. Someone grabbed her son and threatened to hurt him if she didn't give over all her money. She lost everything, so 50$ will go to her and her family.
I am a subscriber. I don't like to brag. We always give to others who have little, and I know a family that could use these pajamas as the mom lost her job.

We (as a family) helped organize a major food donation to the local food pantry. The collection this weekend was phenomenal to the point a second panel truck will be needed to transport the items to the township offices come Monday.
Just a note, our food pantry also provides families with necessary staples like bathroom tissue, shampoo and even lightbulbs. Lots of bloggers are into drugstore rebates and any extra free items you accumulate are welcome donations.
I subscribe and we already donated to toys for tots and everytime we go shopping I give my son money to give the bell ringers.
