  1. I'm all for play dough, but whey does everything have to be scented?

*More people are suffering from allergies.

*Do we need to confuse play dough with something to eat?

*The house is likely already filled with fragrance from soap, Plug-Ins, candles, mommy's perfume and daddy's cologne.

Play dough is fun. Scented play dough is redundant and unnecessary.

  2. Hi Auriette,

You make a very valid point, the scent isn't necessary and can easily be excluded from the recipe - it is only added at the very end.

The reason we added it, was as many people said that they prefered the smell of shop bought playdough. I just wanted to show that homemade playdough could "smell" nice too and that homemade products were not inferior.

    Thank you for your comment!

  3. I LOVE the idea of scented play dough... because regular play dough has a smell that reminds me of being very ill as a child... so the memories associated with it aren't great! Im keen to try this out! Thanks!
