My best workspace advice (which I usually need to take myself) is to only handle things once. Put them in their place (everything should have a place) the first time you touch it!

My workspace organization tip is to take care of papers when they come in. Don't leave them on the desk. I have a folder for each child, bills, things to do, ect. everything gets put away.
My advice is to only keep current magazines around. When the new one comes the old one should go to recycle! I am a subscriber, justicecw@hotmail.com
I am a subscriber bottmar@comcast.net. My best tip is to use color coding as much as possible. It easy to identify with no reading involved.
I Have a special book I bought from dollar general with pockets for it month to stick bills, receipts, etc. and other important info in . I also pay most of my bills at one time on the net every month to save postage and so I know it's paid and I dont need to worry about the payment getting lost in the mail or arrive late.I'm a subscriber.
Email subscriber. My tip is not to accumulate things. Put it away, in it's basket or file or throw it out.

I'm a suscriber and I believe that it's important to invest in a few simple things that are the key to being organized: file folders (which can be kept in a cardboard box if you don't have a file cabinet), color-coded labels & some felt-tip markers, That's all you need to really get going.

My advice is have a small desk--larger desks tend to lead to more clutter and piles of papers.
My tip would be to make sure that you have a fiiling that fits your needs. If it doesn't, then you won't use it! I have our business sep. from personal. Use expandable file for bills throughout the year and ready to tie up with pretty bow at tax time!

My best tip is to put everything back where it is supposed to go, and have 1 pile of stuff to put away! That way when you have extra time you can do the whole thing!!
COLOR CODING!! I have GREEN files for Girl Scout stuff, Light BLUE for my son's school work, and PINK for my daughter's (I home school so this is HUGE for me!), RED for my paperwork that isn't related to those three things, and PURPLE for my husband's bills/mail/etc. The kids have known since they were tiny exactly whose color was whose and they still do!

My workspace tip is to take care of the paperwork as it comes in the mail everyday. Then you never get overloaded.

My best workspace advice it to only have on your desk items you use daily. Everything else can go in drawers or cabinets.

Isn't it amazing that most of these comments give the same advice? You just can't let the papers and "stuff" pile up everywhere. Once a day (at a minimum) file papers, put trash in the wastebasket, etc.
I use a large monthly calendar so I have a lot of room to mark appointments and deadlines and always keep a high lighter near by!!

I am a subscriber! My advice would be to make a seperate file for each bill account you have then separate ones like life insurance and pay check stubs and so on. Everything should have its own place!
my advice is to have one area to write down your notes so they don't get lost and you know where it is!

I am a subscriber, I think making lists and completing one project before you move onto another helps to organize my office.
I used to think I didn't need labels. I figured I know where everything is, and I'll remember what's what. WRONG!! I spent too much time looking for the file with 'xyz', and nobody else could find what they needed. Now I use a labelmaker and I label EVERYTHING!! Can't believe how much time such a little simple step can save!!

When I receive a bill in the mail, I put the date it is due in the left corner of the envelope and store them in due-by-date order in a box.

My tip is to not to start piles on your desk of things you've completed. It is better to file papers away after you finish with them so you can easily find them when needed otherwise you will feel overwhelmed. I know this from experience especially since I also take care of all my mother-in-law's paperwork.

My tip is to go through every week and add and clear the items you don't need. It keeps it up to date . I also like to keep all the monthly receipts in a envelope and keep in a folder for the year, this way I only have to look in the folder and everything is there!!
Thanks

My tip is to clean out your files every few months. Most things don't need to take up room in the file cabinet. If it's still needed box it up for storage or else throw it away
