Last Minute Christmas MOM tip : Save your Christmas cards that you receive. Then next year tear off the the picture side of the card and use it as a big tag for large packages.
We also adhere large greeting card images to the sides of small, plain paper bags with handles and, **poof**, instant gift bags. A great way to reuse small bags from specialty stores since the picture usually covers the store logo. Craft stores sell colored handled bags too.

I do this *all* the time, and love picking out special gift tags. You can even use smaller pics for smaller packages. :)
