MOM Tip - put your phone # on the do not call list NOW!
Call 888-382-1222. It is the National DO NOT CALL list. It will only take a minute of your time but save you many un-wanted pone calls coming into your home.
Thanks for this! I just recently changed my number and have been inundated with telemarketing calls at all hours, everyday! I just put my number on the do not call list, thanks again!
You can also register online. https://www.donotcall.gov/
After you're on the list for 31 days telemarketers aren't supposed to call your number anymore. Some telemarketers use the 31 day period to bug the crap out of you because they know their time is almost up. So, it can get worse before it goes away.

Telephone numbers placed on the National Do Not Call Registry will remain on it permanently due to the Do-Not-Call Improvement Act of 2007, which became law in February 2008. Funny. I am on the DO not call list but still get obnoxious phone calls. I think its because I enter giveaways that require you to enter your phone . They must sell it. SO aggravating. I had a random call said it was computer generated the other day.
THe best way to get off of those obnoxious call lists is to ask to be takin off once they call you once.
You should check Snopes before you post this kind of stuff!
