Uses For Ziploc-Type Plastic Bags:
Pretzels, cotton swabs, etc. which don’t stay together when opened (pretzels, cotton swabs, etc.), inside a Ziploc-type bag save you time in collecting them before they’ve cluttered drawers and floors.
Have wires and disks with no apparent device? Next time, when you buy a new gadget or appliance, use a zipper-type plastic bag to hold all of the pieces and accessories. Label the bag with the name of the appliance.
Travel is less messy when you isolate the potentially messy drugstore items such as sunscreen or lotion in zippered bags. Pack a few extra zippered plastic bags (inside your suitcase) for needs you might encounter along the way.
Marinate meats in Ziplocs. Create a blend of what you have on hand, or bottled marinade, place in a bowl/pan and refrigerate.
Dryer Sheets
Stick dryer sheets in drawers in bureaus.
Use dryer sheets to clean out your lint trap and it does not make a mess.
Dryer sheets are said to be useful mosquito deterrents.
Leave them in your suitcases to keep them fresh.

Home Remedies Made From Common Ingredients:
Honey remedy for skin blemishes... Cover the blemish with a dab of honey and place a Band-Aid over it. Honey kills the bacteria, keeps the skin sterile, and speeds healing.
Listerine therapy for toenail fungus: Get rid of unsightly toenail fungus by soaking your toes in Listerine Mouthwash. The powerful antiseptic leaves your toenails looking healthy again.
Coca cola works on the toilet too!
Easy eyeglass protection: To prevent the screws in eyeglasses from loosening, apply a small drop of Maybelline Crystal Clear Nail Polish to the threads of the screws before tightening them
Use super glue instead of Band-Aids for paper cuts.
Sore throat? Just mix 1/4 cup of vinegar with 1/4 cup of honey and take 1 tablespoon six times a day. The vinegar kills the bacteria.
Balm for broken blisters... To disinfect a broken blister, dab on a few drops of Listerine. It’s a powerful antiseptic.
Quaker Oats for fast pain relief... it's not for breakfast any more! Mix 2 cups of Quaker Oats and 1 cup of water in a bowl and warm in the microwave for 1 minute, cool slightly, and apply the mixture
Cure urinary tract infections with Alka-Seltzer. Just dissolve two tablets in a glass of water and drink it at the onset of the symptoms. Alka-Seltzer begins eliminating urinary tract infections.
Apple cider vinegar is good for flea control; both in baths and a dab in your pet’s water bowls.
Mini marshmallows in ice cream cones catch melted ice cream.
Use an apple slice when the brown sugar needs help.
Teething Pain Solutions:
We used beef jerky for the kids to chew on when teething. Just wash the salt off first. Frozen baby carrots seem to help too.
Freeze a wet clean sterilized washcloth.

“I am doing Monday Mexican, Tuesday Crockpot, Wednesday Asian, Thursday Pasta, Friday Pizza, Saturday New Recipe, Sunday Soup and Sandwiches. I then rotate menus every two weeks.”
