Family Fun - Game Night

Create Family Fun by holding game nights with your entire family. This not only creates memories and bonding time but allows you to use games to teach skills in various areas from sportsmanship to building math, reading and other academic skills as well as creativity depending on the games you select to play.

Some of the favorite games in the Novotny home are Monopoly (star wars version), Card games ( crazy 8), Battleship, and Mancala. What are your family Favorites?

A new game in the Novotny home that teaches Counting and visual discrimination for our 7 and 9 year old is Ring-O Flamingo from Game Wright. Want to try out this new family game? Enter to Win it here at 24/7 MOMS ( enter below).

Double the game night fun by inviting over neighbor families or other family friends for group games such as Cadoo, Catch Phrase, Cranium, Scene It, Apples to Apples.

What do you and your family do for fun?

We have family game night on occassion. One game we all enjoy is Farkle. Even our three year old has fun rolling the dice. We also like Sorry, Uno, Apple to Apples and Pictionary.

Sometimes we turn out all the lights and play by the light of candles and/or lanterns.
