What do you think of when you hear the Alka-Seltzer jingle "Pop Pop Fizz Fizz—Oh what a relief it is"? We automatically think of Relief, for our bodies that is. Have you ever wondered if these tablets could give you everyday relief? around the house that is. Today I have a 4 alternative relief tips with the use of Alka-Seltzer tablets.

* Speed clean your toilet - Drop in two Alka-Seltzer tablets, wait twenty minutes while the citric acid works loosening the grime , then brush and flush. Do this twice a week to keep your toilets clean.

* Scrubbing Eliminator - Remove burnt food from your pots and pans by filling them with warm water, then drop in five tablets and allow them to dissolve then leave it to sit for an hour or so.

* Polished and Shiny Jewelry - In a glass of water dissolve two Alka-Seltzer tablets then place your jewelry into the glass and allow to soak for two minutes.

* Sparkling Vases - Fill your vases with warm water, then drop in two Alka-Seltzer tablets. Allow to soak for an hour to remove stains.

Favorites of MOMS in 2008:

Each year thousands of women across the country wait in anticipation for Oprah’s Favorites edition, where her audience is given numerous products that are featured on Oprah’s Favorites show to take home.
