Shopping Bargains:
There are some great shopping bargains out there with the after Halloween clearance sales going on.
1. Costumes – Purchase clearanced costumes and create a costume box/trunk as a holiday gift for your child who loves to dress-up or purchase a few extras to have on hand as birthday gifts. What kid doesn’t love a new dress-up costume throughout the year?
2. Candy – Do you have any upcoming birthdays, class parties, or other events that you will need candy for? Each year after Halloween I purchase candy for two of my children’s upcoming birthdays at 50% off to fill the piƱatas and goodie bags.
3. Decorations – Do you have any upcoming events that you could use the clearance Halloween decorations for? Last year Nate had a Spider-Man themed birthday party, so I purchased webbing, spiders and a variety of other items that went along with his theme for 50% off. So, think about what other uses you might have for Halloween decorations or items in the colors orange and black.
Online Bargains:
Clearance – Be sure to always check your favorite shopping store's website for clearance and closeouts as well as items that you see in the store on sale that they are out of the size or color you needed. You might just find it online.
Coupons – Before I head out to do holiday shopping I search the internet for printable coupons that I can use at the local stores where I'll be shopping.

Hi Trisha,
ReplyDeleteI really enjoy your blog. I watched an author named Christopher Flett on the Today Show, he wrote a book called "What Men Don't Tell Women About Business" and it shares secrets for women working in business. I thought you might enjoy hearing about him. There could be some great content in their for future posts.
Keep up the great work.
Sincerely,
Bihter
